Licenses
FOR BUYERS
Introduction
At Miusic, every song you buy comes with a license that determines how you can legally use it. This page clearly and comprehensively explains the licenses available to buyers and their scope. Here you'll understand what rights you acquire, what uses are permitted, and what limitations apply.
These licenses apply to songs created by Miusic and generally serve as a reference for how the marketplace works. For songs from third-party sellers, you can always view the specific license before purchasing.

LICENSES CREATED BY EXTERNAL VENDORS
• Within the Miusic marketplace, external creators and sellers may establish their own licensing terms for the works they upload to the platform. This means that:
• They may define terms of use that differ from Miusic’s official licenses.
• They may set their own publishing splits and rules regarding the master rights.
• They may establish specific conditions for commercial use, personal use, exclusive licensing, or other formats.
• They may include different types of files or deliverables at their own discretion.
Before completing the purchase of a song offered by an external seller, the buyer will be able to review the corresponding license description and should read it carefully. By completing the purchase, the buyer accepts the terms established by that seller.
Miusic Alliances
For everyone's peace of mind and security, we have the best recommendations when it comes to protection and professionalism in digital products. Each of our works (lyrics and melodies) is protected under automated copyright systems until purchased. Otherwise, after a sale, the copyright passes to the buyer according to the terms of the acquired license.
LEGAL NOTE
It is not permitted to use any sound, composition, demo, reference, instrumental, lyrics, melody, stem, audio fragment, or content available on Miusic without having previously acquired the corresponding license or rights through the platform. This includes, but is not limited to: downloading, recording, copying, sampling, extracting audio from previews, screen recordings, re-recordings, use in personal or commercial projects, training artificial intelligence models, or any other type of unauthorized reuse. The purchaser is responsible for using the content only in accordance with the terms of the acquired license. Any use outside the scope of the license is considered misuse and may result in immediate revocation of usage rights, removal of content from digital platforms and social media, copyright claims, financial claims for damages, and/or further legal action where applicable. Miusic operates as a marketplace and establishes strict content protection rules. The platform reserves the right to suspend products, block accounts, cancel access, and collaborate with distributors, aggregators, and digital platforms to remove content when unauthorized use, fraud, attempted theft, or clear copyright violations are detected. Miusic is not responsible for additional private agreements between buyers and external sellers, but it does reserve the right to intervene and take action within the marketplace when its terms, licenses, or applicable intellectual property laws are violated.
FOR SELLERS
• Sellers and creators who publish music within Miusic must understand that the platform operates as an intermediary marketplace that facilitates the connection between creators and buyers.
Within Miusic, sellers have access to tools that allow them to establish clear and detailed licenses for each digital product they choose to offer. While Miusic provides standard license options to simplify the process, each creator has the freedom to create their own customized licenses according to their style, needs, goals, and subscription level within the platform. This includes the ability to define:
• Specific terms and conditions for each type of license.
• Whether the work is offered for personal, commercial, or exclusive use.
• The exact rules regarding the handling of the master rights.
• The publishing percentages associated with the work.
• Which files are delivered with each license type (demos, instrumental, stems, lyrics, melodies, etc.).
• Pricing and specific usage conditions for each license level.
Each published product must include a clear, precise, and verifiable description of the licenses offered. The creator is solely responsible for ensuring that the information presented is accurate and complies with intellectual property laws. By uploading content, the seller affirms that:
1. They are the legitimate owner of all necessary rights to the work.
2. The work does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
3. They have the legal authority to offer the work under multiple licensing formats.
4. They are able to deliver the files and permissions they claim to provide.
Miusic is not responsible for verifying the authenticity of works uploaded by external sellers or for enforcing the terms they establish. However, the platform may intervene when:
• Copyright violations are detected.
• There are inconsistencies between what was offered and what was delivered.
• The seller violates internal platform policies.
• Formal claims are filed by buyers or distributors.
The seller agrees that Miusic may temporarily suspend a product, remove it from the marketplace, limit platform functionality, or block the creator’s account when it is determined that there is legal risk, fraud, misuse of content, or violations of intellectual property rights.
Regarding copyright registration, Miusic does not currently offer registration or publishing administration services for works uploaded by external sellers. This process remains the responsibility of the creator. In the future, Miusic will integrate optional services for registration, rights administration, and publishing management in order to simplify the process for sellers. When these services become available, they will be formally announced within the marketplace.
The seller is also responsible for handling any disputes related to their licenses, responding to third-party claims, and complying with all applicable laws — including local and international copyright law, moral rights, distribution rights, synchronization rights, and commercial licensing regulations. By operating within the marketplace, the seller declares that the license terms they establish are legal, enforceable, and do not conflict with rights previously granted to third parties.
In summary, Miusic provides the platform, the tools, and the visibility.
The seller provides the work, defines the licenses, establishes the terms, and assumes full legal responsibility for the content published and sold.
